Police and an ambulance were called to the incident at about 6pm on the Forres bypass near the junction with the A940. After arriving at the scene medics decided the injuries to the biker warranted him being taken to hospital. The road has been closed to east-bound traffic with diversions set up through the town. The route remains open for vehicles driving towards Inverness. A police spokesman said: “A car and a motorcycle are involved. We are in attendance with an ambulance. “The motorcyclist is going to be taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital for a check-up. There are no injuries to anyone in the car.” UPDATE: The road is now clear.
