The incident happened on West Road, just outside the Esso filling station, about 12.30pm. A man was hit by a Tesco lorry and has now been taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital where he is being treated for life-threatening injuries. The road has been closed between the hospital roundabout and Wittet Drive. Collision investigators are at the scene.
