More than 20 people had to be evacuated from a Lossiemouth caravan park after a wildfire blazed through a nearby grassland.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said crews battled against the flames near the Covesea Links area in a bid to prevent it spreading further towards the static homes.
Six appliances were called to the scene at around 10.45am and 25 firefighters worked well into the late afternoon to dampen down the area.
Eyewitnesses said smoke could be seen billowing into sky over a wide area.
Police Scotland said some road had been closed as a result of the incident and Moray Council confirmed more than 20 people staying at the Silver Sands caravan site were moved as a precaution.
The site was able to reopen in the early afternoon but teams are continuing to monitor the area to make sure it is safe.
The wildfire comes just three years after a fire destroyed the Tea Shack cafe at the Covesea Links golf course.
