But officers say the pedestrian suffered only “minor injuries” in the collision. The incident took place on Station Road shortly before 6pm last night and involved a Doig’s of Glasgow coach. It appeared that the bus had been moving away from a stop outside Elgin railway station when the woman was hit. A police spokeswoman said: “Police attended at Station Road in Elgin after reports of a road traffic collision at about 6pm. “It involved a 46-year-old female pedestrian and a private hire bus. “The pedestrian sustained minor injuries as a result of the incident, and she was taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital.” The road was closed for several hours while emergency services attended the scene.
