Cash incentives are being offered to Moray community groups as part of a drive to encourage recycling.
A competition is being run by not-for-profit recycling firm Repic, for groups to win electrical goods.
The company recycles more than half of the discarded electrical equipment generated in the UK.
Moray Council’s waste management officer, Steve Williamson, said: “We have worked with Repic for more than 10 years.
“In that time the partnership has provided opportunities for residents to recycle their waste electrical appliances and materials through our community recycling sites.
“The initiative is a great opportunity to bring further benefit to communities and to encourage recycling.”
To win £500 worth of vouchers to be spent on electrical equipment, groups need to say what product they need and how it will make a difference to what they do. They also need to know the name of the Repic Robot mascot.
Repic chief executive Mark Burrows-Smith said: “We are proud to have collected and treated over two million tonnes of waste electronics to date.
“We hope that the Powering Communities campaign will encourage people to think about responsibly recycling their old electricals.
“It is great to team up with Moray Council and we are looking forward to receiving the entries.”
The closing date for the completion is June 19.
