A woman has been arrested, following the theft of a motorbike in a Moray village.
The 20-year-old was also charged in relation to alleged thefts from cars in the area.
All of the incidents occurred between Tuesday, May 2, and last Friday in Lhanbryde and Fochabers.
Inspector David Hoyle, of the Lossiemouth community policing team, said: “Acquisitive crime, such as thefts from houses, vehicles and thefts of vehicles is a top priority for operational policing here in the north-east and will not be tolerated.
“I would always advise members of the public to ensure their homes and vehicles are locked when unattended overnight.
“Valuables, which could prove to be a temptation to opportunistic thieves, should also be kept out of sight.
“Anyone who sees anything suspicious in their community should contact police on 101.”
