Police, fire and ambulance crews all attended the scene on the A941 road at the Craigellachie junction. The incident involved a grey Mercedes car and white Mercedes van. Unconfirmed reports suggested one of the vehicles may have been a hire car driven by tourists holidaying in the area. Two police units and two ambulance vehicles were spotted at the scene and the road remained blocked for several hours. A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “Officers received a call about the crash at around 1.15pm, and firefighters and paramedics also attended. “One driver was taken to hospital with whiplash, and another driver and passenger were taken to hospital as a precaution.”
