About 10 tonnes of steel beams have been stolen from a Moray business.
Police suspect that thieves made two visits to the Elgin firm to take the large amount of metal.
The commercial premises on Chanonry Road South was raided between Monday, August 28 and Monday, September 11.
Investigating officer, Constable Catherine Robertson said: “This has been a significant theft of a large quantity of heavy steel which has possibly been taken on two separate occasions.
“The second occasion is thought to have occured between Wednesday, September 6 and Friday, September 8 with the first being after Monday, August 28.
“If anyone recalls seeing anything suspicious in the area over the last few weeks, I would ask that they contact us with information.”
