Two former employees of a Moray care home could be struck off in disciplinary hearings.
The support workers were employed at Spynie Care Home in Elgin.
One is accused of falling asleep while responsible for the care of residents and the other with threatening to withhold food.
Yesterday a spokeswoman for the centre confirmed Catherine Wells and Robert Farmer were suspended when the alleged incidents came to light and neither work there now.
Both will face separate hearings at the Scottish Social Services Council next week to consider whether they are fit to continue working in the sector.
Mrs Wells is accused of exposing “a resident to risk of harm” by falling asleep on duty between February 9 and 10 last year. A further charge alleges she fell asleep on other dates.
Mr Farmer is accused of threatening to withhold food from a resident, identified as AA, on February 13 last year.
The charge alleges he told AA: “If you don’t stop buzzing I’ll not give you your pudding.”
On the same day the care worker also removed a dessert from resident BB before shouting at her.
Mr Farmer is also accused of failing to follow the personal care plan for CC by showering her himself on February 14 last year when two people were required.
Despite telling a senior carer he would fill in an incident report after the resident was injured after slipping in the shower, he allegedly failed to.
Mr Farmer also faces accusations of arguing and shouting with DD, husband of resident EE, on May 3 last year and “raising his voice” with an “inappropriate tone” to resident FF between February 26, 2014 and February 17, 2015.
Both hearings are scheduled to begin on October 3.
