A national pizza chain will open a new shop in Elgin next week, serving up new employment opportunities to Moray.
The new Domino’s on High Street will welcome hungry customers from Monday, and will bring 25 jobs to the area, including pizza makers, customer service staff and drivers.
New employees at Domino’s receive full training, from dough management to road safety.
Adam Gulyas, the manager of the new shop, said: “We’re thrilled to be opening our doors to the people of Elgin.
“There’s also plenty of employment opportunity for people living in Elgin, so we look forward to welcoming local pizza superstars to join our growing team.
“In particular, we’re searching for delivery drivers who can provide exceptional customer service and demonstrate integrity, honesty and reliability, as well as being passionate for freshly-made pizza.”
A number of jobs have been lost across Moray recently due to companies closing down.
In September, Brown Engineering of Fochabers, which was established in the 1970s, went into liquidation, leading to the loss of more than 30 jobs.
The company faced challenges due to the downturn in the North Sea oil and gas sector.
However, the investment of Domino’s in the region is not the only good news for those seeking employment in the region.
Earlier this month, permission was granted for the construction of a new £3.5million Grampian Furnishers showroom on the outskirts of Elgin, bringing further employment opportunities to Moray.
