A two-vehicle smash caused a busy north-east road to be closed this afternoon.
The collision happened near the Tesco in Huntly on the A96 Huntly to Keith road at around 4.30pm.
It is understood that no-one involved sustained serious injuries. The road was fully closed for around half an hour while debris was cleared. One lane was then opened before the carriageway was fully reopened at around 5.45pm.
A police spokesman said: “We were on the scene dealing with it. Both lanes had to be closed at first due to the amount of debris.
“Vehicle recovery services were at the scene to tow the cars away.”
