Johnny Kessack, 32, was inspired to dress up as Elgin’s Dandy Lion statue because of his four-year-old son’s admiration for the towering monument. Mr Kessack has since become an internet sensation after photographs of him in the colourful garb were shared across social media. The offshore worker said that it wasn’t until he stood next to the sculpture that he realised just how uncanny the resemblance was. Mr Kessack plans to wear the outfit as he goes guising with his son, Innes, through Kinloss tomorrow night.
