The silver Renault Clio veered from the A941 Elgin to Rothes road, two miles south of Fogwatt, yesterday at 7.50am. Witnesses said the car appeared to slide on an icy section of the route. A police spokeswoman said the driver managed to make her own way to Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin, to have “minor injuries” examined.
