Firefighters were called to an industrial estate in Elgin today after an early morning fire.
The incident happened at 2.55am at a commercial building in the town’s Chanonry Industrial Estate.
No one was injured but a tractor and two lorries were damaged.
Police in Elgin are appealing for information.
Sergeant Krystle Ross said: “Inquiries into the fire are at an early stage and we are working closely with colleagues with Scottish Fire and Rescue Service to ascertain the cause.
“If anyone such as taxi or delivery drivers saw anything unusual or suspicious in the area in the early hours I would ask them to get in touch with officers.”
Anyone with information about the fire is asked to call Police Scotland on 101.
