Over 150 motorists engaged with in Aberdeen traffic operation
A three-car collision took place in a Moray town this afternoon after a pensioner took ill at the wheel and lost control of her vehicle.
The female was driving her silver Ford Fiesta along Victoria Road in Forres at about 3.50pm when she became unwell and the accident occurred.
Police confirmed that the situation was the result of a “medical matter” and that the pensioner has since been taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin for treatment.
A spokesman added that no injuries were caused as a result of the crash.
