Man charged after Buckie flats wrecked by digger crash

A 30-year-old man arrested after a construction tractor crashed into a building in Buckie has now been charged.

The crash happened in Land Street at about 5am yesterday.

No-one was injured in the accident but there was serious damage to the walls of a house.

Police Scotland said the man arrested in relation to road traffic offences had now been charged. He is expected to appear at Elgin Sheriff Court today.
