A 16-year-old local male has been charged in relation to an alleged wilful fire-raising in Keith.
The incident happened in the early hours of Saturday morning at a derelict property on Moss Street.
Inspector Neil Campbell said: “Fortunately no one was injured as a result of this incident however it goes without saying that this could have been far more serious.
“Inquiries remain ongoing and we would ask that anyone who saw anything unusual or suspicious in the area during the evening of Friday 2 March 2018, in to the early hours of Saturday 3 March 2018 gets in touch.
