An auction of more than 140 whiskies from across Scotland will be held next month to raise funds for a Moray village.
The Craigellachie Village Council will host its annual fundraising whisky auction May 6.
Last year, the event raised thousands of pounds for the organisation, which helps to maintain facilities including tennis courts, play parks and the village hall.
The highest successful bid of the 2017 auction was a bottle of Macallan Robbie Burns for £2,100 – and this year organisers hope to sell malts from Speyside, Islay and beyond.
Chairwoman Jane Tweedie said: “The village council has gained a reputation for staging a very professional event, meeting the aspirations of sellers and buyers, while attracting interest from local ,national and international whisky fans.
“The village council committee and helpers have been working very hard to ensure the event runs smoothly and Colin Fraser, a professional auctioneer based in Edinburgh, will again be in charge of the bidding.
“Colin grew up in Craigellachie and kindly comes back to the village each year to conduct our auction.
“The range of items entered in the auction will be very varied, and there is sure to be something to tempt everyone and also suit all budgets.
“Whether buyers are looking for a bargain bottle, or a very special bottle to keep as an investment, Craigellachie Village Council’s annual whisky auction is the place to be on the afternoon of Sunday, May 6.”
The event will be held in Craigellachie Village Hall. To find out more, or to sell a bottle at the auction, visit www.craigellachie.org.uk
