A major gorse fire at Clasahach Quarry in Moray has been brought under control. The first reports of smoke came in at about 3.30pm with fire crews, a forestry unit, and a welfare unit sent to the scene. Smoke from the blaze could be seen as far away as Nairn and medical experts warned people with breathing difficulties to avoid the coastal spot. One pump currently remains at the scene to monitor the area.
