Police are appealing for witnesses after a number of charity tins were stolen from the Spar store in Portgordon.
The thief is thought to have struck at the Station Road shop at around 9pm on Sunday June 10.
A low three-figure sum was stolen.
PC Cameron Renton said: “We would like to hear from anyone who may have information in relation to this incident and from any witness who saw anything unusual or suspicious in the area at the time.”
