Police are appealing for witnesses following the assault of a 40-year-old man in Elgin.
The incident happened at around 1am on Saturday in the Pinegrove area. The man was taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital for treatment as a result.
Officers would like to trace two men who were in the area around the time who may be able to assist with enquiries.
They are described as being aged in their early 20’s, of average height and slim build, and were both wearing hooded tops. One is described as having black hair while the other had lighter coloured hair.
Sergeant Neil Morrison said: “We would like to hear from anyone who may have information in relation to this assault or who witnessed the incident.
