Sarah Frame-O'Hare with her strategy game will be working with drinks giant Coca-Cola

A Moray businesswoman has played her cards right by securing a collaboration with one of the world’s biggest drink companies.

Sarah Frame-O’Hare owns Strategy Cards, and will now work alongside Coca-Cola to develop a new set of cards for one of the firm’s mentoring programs.

The company was set up in November 2016 and offers card-based games covering professional topics designed for managers, trainers and consultants to quickly, and creatively use for strategy planning and in team meetings and workshops.

After her idea was spotted at a conference, the new set of cards was commissioned by the Coca Cola 5by20, an initiative to enable the economic empowerment of five million women entrepreneurs by 2020.

Ms Frame-O’Hare, who also works part-time as an optometrist in Elgin, was delighted to be working with the widely-recognised brand.

She said: “It all seems a bit surreal, but of course I am delighted to be working with such a huge firm that has such strong values about supporting women in business.

“It’s a great opportunity for the business, but I love the fact that the cards we have created will be used to support women in business. In some way, that is more of a win for me.”

Angie Foreman is the Coca-Cola 5by20 programme director for Scotland and was very impressed when she spotted Ms Frame-O’Hare’s idea at a conference.

She said: “I just loved the simplicity and uniqueness of this concept, so much so that we set up a meeting to discuss how Sarah could create a bespoke set of cards for the Coca-Cola 5by20 Dundee mentoring programme.”

Her cards will now be used for the launch of the Dundee Coca-Cola 5by20 Mentoring programme where each mentor will receive a pack of Mentoring Strategy Cards as part of their tool-kit.
