A school minibus and a car collided on a Moray road yesterday. The accident happened on the A95 Keith to Grantown road between Keith and Mulben at about 3.40pm.
The minibus had just finished dropping off its passengers home from school and was returning back to Keith when the collision took place.
It happened on the A95 approximately one mile west of the junction with the A96 on Keith and on a series of bends.
One person was taken to hospital as a precaution, but nobody was seriously hurt.
The road was shut for nearly two hours while fire crews made the scene safe and the debris was cleared.
A fire service spokesman said: “We received a call at 3.49pm about a two-vehicle crash on the A95.
“We had two appliances in attendance and fire crews made sure the vehicles were safe before leaving the scene at 4.34pm.”
The road was re-opened at about 5pm.
A police spokesman said: “An incident occurred at 3.40pm between Keith and Mulben. There was a collision involving a car and a minubus and an ambulance was called.
“The road was then re-opened again at about 5pm. There were some minor injuries suffered but the road was then cleared.”
