Police are appealing for witnesses a man attempted to rob a woman in an Elgin park.
The 47-year old woman was walking in Doocot Park near New Elgin Road at about 7pm on Thursday when the man approached her and demanded items from her.
She suffered a minor injury and was left shaken, but no weapons were involved.
The culprit is described as being white, aged between 20-25, 6ft tall with short dark hair and gaunt features.
He was wearing a light T-shirt, light jeans and dark trainers.
Detective Constable Sarah Dawson said: “I am appealing for anyone who was in the area of Doocot Park at the time and saw the suspect or anyone who recognises his description to contact police.
“Following the incident the suspect ran off through the park in the direction of North Street.”
