An inspection has been carried out at the Richmond Fellowship Scotland combined care home and support service in Lossiemouth.
Inspectors turned up at the facility unannounced on September 19, and assessed the quality of care and support as good, and the quality of management and leadership as adequate.
The inspection report said: “People who experienced support from the service experienced this in a way where all people respected and valued them as individuals.
“There were some difficulties within one element of the service, where people shared their home together there were conflicts which demonstrated that these individuals were not in the right place to experience the care and support they needed or wished for.
“The manager was working with external professionals in partnership to look at ways to reduce the risks associated to those who were living together.”
It added: “In other service areas people’s care and support met their needs and was right for them.
“When we met with an individual, they appeared relaxed and comfortable in their home environment and staff were working well with them.”
