Officers believe the blaze on Admiralty Street in Buckie was started deliberately. Now an appeal for witnesses has been launched, with police keen to hear from anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area. Emergency services were contacted at about midnight on Monday evening. Constable Hector Bryden said: “We are particularly interested in the time between 10.45pm and the emergency services being alerted.” Anyone who was in the area at the time should contact police by calling 101.
