A digger has been rammed into the front of a Spar shop in Keith.
The incident took place at the town’s Regent Street store in the early hours of this morning, causing “significant damage”.
A 35-year-old man has been arrested in relation to the incident and is assisting police with their inquiries.

A police spokesman said: “We received the call at 3.35am.
“There are still a number of units at the scene, whilst inquiries are ongoing.”
The A96 is currently closed in both directions from the Isla Bridge to Regent Square.
Diversions are in place via Newmill and Drummuir.

A statement on Traffic Scotland’s website said: “Road users are advised to follow the diversion and expect delays.”
