More than 40 firefighters battled a blaze in Lossiemouth’s MacDonald Drive in the early hours of Thursday. A 13-month-old girl was flown to Glasgow, while her parents were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. They all remain in a serious condition. An investigation into the cause of the fire got under way on Thursday, with police and fire searching the charred remains of the property for clues. Yesterday, police confirmed they had found no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident. A spokeswoman said: “Following a joint investigation by ourselves and the fire service, there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the fire. “We will continue to support the families involved.”
