Revered US gospel singer to return to Moray village for fifth visit

A revered gospel singer from the US will visit Moray next week to begin her three-week national tour.

Kathy Bullock is due to appear in Findhorn for a concert and singing workshop to help spread her passion for African-American gospel songs.

The performer, who is a professor of music in Kentucky, is known for being a “larger than life” teacher.

The event at the Universal Hall will start a tour of the UK following her visit to Findhorn, which will be her fifth trip to the village.

Local singing teacher Bill Henderson, who runs a choir in Forres and has organised the visit, said: “We are so very lucky to have her come to Findhorn again. She is in such great demand and I am sure that people who experience her for the first time will find this a life-changing experience.

“For me she is the most exciting and uplifting singing teacher that I have ever worked with.”

Kathy Bullock will perform at the Universal Hall in Findhorn on Saturday, March 16 at 8pm.
