Repairs on a busy bridge in Moray will resume next week.
The A941 Aberlour to Elgin road has been restricted to a single lane since January after a routine inspection found damage to one of the bearings.
Work to put in place a temporary solution on the River Spey crossing at Craigellachie to allow the road to fully reopen will begin on Monday.
Further repairs are then expected to take place during the summer.
A Moray Council spokesman said: “Weather permitting, we’ll be able to complete this within five days and hope to have the bridge fully operational by the evening of Friday March 29.”
