A Moray man has pleaded guilty to possessing videos of extreme bestiality pornography.
Police applied for a search warrant for Barry Simpson’s property at Innes Court, Lhanbryde after receiving reports about an indecent Category A video being uploaded to the internet from his address.
When officers executed that warrant on June 4, they seized various devices and a hard drive from the house which had numerous videos of bestiality on it.
When Simpson, 47, was interviewed by police, he admitted having videos on the computer which was in the living room.
He was shown the hard drive and told officers that he had bought it off eBay but had yet to access it.
Simpson pled guilty to possessing extreme pornographic images depicting adults engaging in sexual activity with animals.
Sheriff Gary Aitken deferred sentence for a month in order for a social work report to be written and Simpson was placed on the sex offenders list in the meantime.
