Rotary Elgin’s annual Rotafun family fun day will take place in Cooper Park on Sunday June 2.
The event will close a weekend of fun filled entertainment being organised by the group which kicks off with a ticketed event in the rotary marquee on the Saturday from 2pm until 5pm.
There will be beer and bhajis or cocktails and canapes accompanied by live music from local band MacTa, with proceeds from the evening going to Abbie’s Sparkle Foundation.
Tickets are available from Cathedral Windows on Elgin High Street for £25 each, for tables of six.
Sunday will bring the big Rotafun family fun day from noon until 5pm, which starts with a five mile run which is the closing event in the Elgin Rotary Triple Challenge.
Local clubs will hold taster sessions, including Moray Rugby, Elgin Lawn Tennis Club and Elgin Boys League.
The afternoon features a mini challenge whereby a parent or child or two teenagers can try a variety of sports and activities and gather points as they along.
There also be a live music stage with bands including 40 Elephants as well as entertainment and displays from Elgin Taekwondo, Forres Gymnastics, June Roy Dancers, Speyside Falconry, Hopscotch Magic plus many more.
In addition, there will be various stalls to browse.
