Police called to two-car crash on the A96

Two cars have crashed on the A96 this afternoon.

A white Audi TT and red Suzuki saloon are involved.

It happened near Blackhillock, heading south from Keith, shortly after 3.3opm.

Police confirmed that there are no serious injuries.

A spokeswoman said: “We received a call at 3.33pm regarding a two-vehicle crash.

“Officers have just arrived on scene.”

Traffic Scotland reported one lane of two on the southbound carriageway was blocked.

It tweeted the crash was passable with care.
