The time of the Red Arrows display and everything else you need to know about Raf Lossiemouth family and friends day

A family and friends event will be held at Raf Lossiemouth and Kinloss Barracks today.

While the main event is for serving personnel at the bases, the general public can still enjoy a flying display spectacular.

Here is everything you need to know about the event:

Road closures

There are a number of road closures and traffic restrictions in place today.

Flying displays

There will be two flying displays today. The Typhoon display is at 1.30pm and the Red Arrows will follow at 2pm.

Members of the public who wish to watch are asked to view the display from the north side of the airfield.

Raf Lossiemouth issued a warning on its Twitter page that large groups of people to the south of the airfield will result in the display not going ahead.
