The search has begun for Moray’s sporting champions and unsung heroes for an annual awards ceremony. The Sport Moray Recognition Awards have been celebrating achievements on and off the track and field for the last 20 years. Nominations have now opened for this year’s bash, which will include 14 categories ranging from competitors to coaches and volunteers of all ages. Chairwoman Ann Rossiter said: “The awards truly recognise the depth and wealth of talent we have across Moray.” Nominations forms are available by calling 01343 563374. Nominations close on November 6. The awards will be held on November 27 at Elgin Town Hall.
