A motorist has been airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary following a crash near Buckie.
Police, ambulance and two fire crews were called to the one-vehicle incident on the A98 outside Arradoul at around 4.45pm earlier today. An air ambulance was also required.
The condition of the driver is still unknown.
The coastal road passing through Moray and Aberdeenshire remains shut and motorists are being asked to use alternative routes.
The #A98 is currently closed in both directions at Arradoul near#Buckie due to a road traffic collision.
A police spokesperson said: “The driver of a Suzuki SX4 was airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after crashing on the A98 outside Arradoul near Buckie.
“The condition of the driver is unknown but it is thought their injuries are not life-threatening.”
