A fault with a level crossing in Elgin is causing disruption for trains between Inverness and Aberdeen this morning.

Scotrail is advising that passengers with tickets can travel on Stagecoach North services 10, 35 and 37 between Aberdeen and Inverness at Inverurie, Huntly, Keith, Elgin, Forres, Nairn and Inverness.
An update from Scotrail at 7.45am said: “No trains are currently able to travel over the level crossing at Elgin due to the fault. We’re looking at alternative options.”
The Elgin to Inverness service is now starting at Forres.
