Police were called to Land Street in Rothes on Sunday night, shortly before 10pm. A 33-year-old man had been taken to Dr Gray’s hospital in Elgin after suffering serious head injuries, he is now in a stable condition. Police have arrested and charged two men aged 27 and 30 in connection with the incident. They are to appear at Elgin Sheriff Court later today.
