The annual Moray Speyside Tourism conference will take place in Elgin next week.
The conference on November 8, at the town hall, is expected to be the biggest ever held in Moray – with more than half the tickets already snapped up.
Tourism businesses and stakeholders from across the region, and further afield, will gather to share tips and get updates on exciting new developments.
This year’s conference will include an “expo” of the services available for tourism businesses, as well as speeches from key figures in the industry. There will also be workshops focused on building social media skills with the help of professional bloggers.
The purpose of the conference is to provide businesses with support and knowledge to be prepared for the future of the ever-changing industry.
Moray Speyside Tourism’s operations manager, Laurie Piper, said: “This year’s conference will be the last under the banner of Moray Speyside Tourism.
“We’ve made tickets free as we want as many businesses than ever to get involved, to find out what we do to promote region and support their business and to hear about the benefits of the Tourism Business Improvement District. There’s no risk, and you’ll even get a free lunch.”
