A scheme encouraging north youngsters to get active has been awarded £2,000 from a major funding campaign.
Active Schools and Sport in Moray will use the funding from Third Sector Interface to develop a new young leaders programme.
It was one of several contenders in the #youchoose4 scheme, which was then put to an online public vote.
A Moray Council spokeswoman said: “This money will go towards developing young people around Moray who give up their time to support active schools in their areas.
“A huge well done to all the other worthwhile projects as well.”
Other successful beneficiaries of the scheme were Moray School Bank, Keith-based environmental charity Reap and Ray’s Opportunities, which supports people with disabilities in the Forres area.
