A renowned singer is supporting the Scottish SPCA at her ‘Nae Ordinary Burns Supper’ event.
Fiona Kennedy has chosen the animal welfare charity to be one of the beneficiaries of the annual celebration held at MacDonald Drumossie Hotel in Inverness on January 24.
The Scottish entertainer will be joined by actor John Bett and local singer-songwriter Peter MacPherson. Ceilidh group The Jacobites and other musicians will also be performing traditional tunes.
As well as an array of musical entertainment, attendees will enjoy a three-course Burns Supper, ceilidh dancing and the opportunity to win exclusive prizes in the raffle.
All the funds raised be going towards helping the SPCA in carrying out the four R’s for animals in need across Scotland – rescue, rehabilitate, rehome and release.
Sharon Comrie, Scottish SPCA animal rescue and rehoming centre superintendent, said: “We are over the moon that Fiona Kennedy, one of Scotland’s most-loved singers, is raising funds for us through this amazing event.”
