Drivers travelling along the A96 Aberdeen to Elgin road were brought to a standstill outside the town near Grampian Furnishers. The queue reportedly went back four miles to Lhanbryde with one motorists saying it took them 25 minutes to get through the short stretch of road. A police spokeswoman said they received a call at 8am and officers were sent to the scene. The road was eventually cleared at 10am when the vehicle was recovered.
