A car crashed into Dufftown War Memorial on Balvenie Street. Police were on the scene with a recovery unit after a vehicle hit one of the surrounding trees. The road is now clear after it was blocked during the vehicle recovery, A police spokeswoman said: “”We were called at 8pm to a one vehicle collision after a car collided with the tree. “There was a recovery unit on site. “The road is no longer obstructed and we left the scene at 10.25pm.”
