Following their recent annual meeting, Rothes Horticultural and Industrial Society committee has issued the plea to help them improve their schedule. Dena Cruickshank, president of the society, said: “We looked at the entries in pot plants, cut flowers and vegetables over the past three years. “Quite a few classes had no entries at all for this period, so we decided to delete them from the show. “If you would like to see a new class for something you grow and would enter in the show, let us know and we’ll include it for you.” Ideas must be submitted to secretary Sheila MacDonald by February 14 ahead of the next show in Grant Hall on September 5. Mrs MacDonald is available on 01340 831449 or 07929 910156, or e-mail raymondgmacdonald@btopenworld.com
