A nine-year-old girl was airlifted to hospital in Edinburgh yesterday following a crash near Craigellachie.
Police, fire and ambulance units were called to the scene of the collision on the A941 Craigellachie and Dufftown which was reported at 5.25pm.
Three other people were taken to hospital to be treated for injuries described as non life threatening.
A police statement said: “Emergency services attended a three car crash on the A941 between Craigellachie and Dufftown around 5.30pm on Sunday 23 February 2020.
“A nine-year-old girl was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.
“Three other people were taken to hospital to be treated for injuries described as non life threatening.”
The A941 at the A95 junction was closed and diversions put in place but reopened this morning at 6.40am.”
A fire service spokesman said that engines from Dufftown, Aberlour and Rothes were sent to the scene and crews left at 7pm.
