Police will be carrying out searches in the Lossiemouth area as they try to find a missing man.
Clive Hewes was reported missing by his family on Saturday.
The 46-year-old, who is known locally as ‘Maz’ or ‘Mazzy’ was last seen around midday on Monday, March 2.
He has not been seen or in contact with anyone since this time and concern is growing for his welfare.
Police said he is described as around 5 foot 10 inches tall, slim to medium build, has brown shaved hair, is clean shaven and has grey eyes. He was last seen wearing dark coloured jeans, a black and grey jacket and white trainers.
Sergeant Neil Morrison, of the Lossiemouth Community Policing Team, said: “As the passage of time increases we are becoming very concerned for his welfare and it is imperative that we trace his current whereabouts as soon as possible.
“Several lines of inquiry are ongoing, including a possible sighting about 2:25pm on Monday in the area of Shore Street at Kinneddar Street, Lossiemouth.
“As a result of our inquiries, there will be heightened police activity in the Lossiemouth area starting from tomorrow morning as we continue our searches to trace Clive with officers from the Community Policing Team being assisted by specialist resources.
“I would ask anyone who has seen Clive since midday on Monday, March 2, or has any information that may assist our enquiries, to please contact us immediately”.
