Ruth Miller is entertaining her neighbours by walking her dog around the Southside estate while in different fancy dresses every day. The businesswoman, who owns Ruthless Cleaners, wants to use the time away from her work to brighten up people’s days. Mrs Miller said she was thrilled with the response from the village. The costumes have included Harry Potter, 101 Dalmatians and various superheroes. She said: “I woke up one morning and the sun was shining so I said to my husband Kev I am going dress up as a dinosaur for my dog walk. “I went onto social media to post what I was doing and I had lots of children come out to see me. “It’s so lovely to see them all smile and talk about what they have been doing.” She added that some locals have also joined in the fun. “Kids and parents are joining in by dressing up as well. “Kids are also giving me ideas of what they want me to be dressed up as. “We dressed up as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for one birthday recently.”
