A Moray balloon artist has been spreading happiness amid the coronavirus crisis by taking part in a global challenge.
Gill Redmond created a rainbow design outside her home at Easter Covesea, near Lossiemouth, in a tribute to healthcare staff and key workers who are on the frontline.
Her creation was made as part of the One Million Bubbles Challenge, during which balloon designers from all around the shared their art to bring smiles to people’s faces.
The businesswoman, who owns the BeeDeck Balloons company, said that she wanted to cheer up key workers driving past her home when going to work.
She said: “The heart was to salute all the healthcare and key workers who have to work in these strange and strenuous circumstances.
“There are a lot of people working really hard in very difficult circumstances, and it is nice to do something I enjoy to make people smile.”
A spokeswoman for the balloon challenge added:”Nothing brings smiles to people’s faces like balloons do, and the professional balloon decorating and entertainment industry wants to help people find their smiles and joy during this challenging and frightening time we have entered.”
