The carer support service run by Quarriers in the region will collate requests for PPE on behalf of Health and Social Care Moray.
Securing protective clothing has been a recurring problem across the UK during the coronavirus pandemic.
Gloves, aprons and masks are already being distributed to frontline staff employed within and outside Health and Social Care Moray.
A spokeswoman said: “The Covid-19 pandemic represents an unprecedented challenge for the health and social care sector.
“We know that as an unpaid carer you already provide critical support for the people you care for and we want to do everything we can to support you in these difficult times.”
Staff from Quarriers will gather information about carers about their situation to prioritise the requests in line with Scottish Government guidance.
