A Moray hotel has supplied more than 1,627 meals to vulnerable members of the community since the coronavirus lockdown began.
The Cullen Bay Hotel, owned by Ian and Rena Watson, has been working hard to provide the service seven days a week for residents in the town, Deskford and surrounding areas.
The delivery and pick-up service is available as the hotel has teamed up with Cullen Connect volunteers.
Mr Watson said:”We are really happy with the support we have received from the community.
“To be honest everyone has an obligation to help and there are people that really need it.
“We are averaging about six hours a day in the kitchen to provide the service.
“Thank you for the continued support of the Co op in Cullen and their customers as well.”
The service has been receiving glowing reports from the community.
He added: “We get a lot of feedback from the drivers who deliver the food.
“On Sunday we serve fish and chips and that’s always popular.
“Cullen Skink is popular and other soups go down really well too.”
All food donations are welcome to assist the hotel’s operation.
People wishing to donate should call the hotel on 01542 840432.
